Paying Back Your Student Loans

It seems to sneak up on many college graduates. What is it? It’s the day that the Student Loan payment starts. College graduates have a 6 month grace period after graduation to start paying back the loan.

Time flies as the old saying goes, but to a College graduate, that 6 months can really fly by. Some students will find jobs and be able to make the first payments. Others won’t be so lucky and a few missed payments on your Student Loans can haunt your for a long, long time!

What To Do If You Find Your First Payment Due And Have No Job (and no Money)

There are a few things that new graduates can do if they find their first payment due and have no money to make it.

Granted, not all of these options will appeal to every student or will every student even be elgible for all these options.

Remember, your Student loans must be repaid. Uncle Sam has seen to it that they get repaid no matter what. You can’t go bankrupt on student loan and these loans never go away…well…for most of us they never go away.

Here’s some Student Loan FAQ’s that will answer some questions you might have on repaying your student loan.
